After almost 20 years in business there, Dirito’s in busy Glenhuntly Road, Elsternwick is very much a family affair, with a solid reputation for providing an ideal combination of price and quality fresh produce. Already, third generation Vincent, eight months old, has been issued with his official Dorito apron! He’s pictured with his mother Josie, her brother Pat, and proud grandparents, Tony and Connie Dorito. The business has featured twice before in the retail awards. The results are proudly displayed in the shop, with its distinctive ceiling archways and hanging citrus displays. The business features a huge range of traditional and exotic lines fitted into a relatively small space. When combined with the cheery atmosphere, it attracts a steady stream of repeat business.
