Spaghetti Alla Puttanesca

Description:
A delicious and traditional recipe for a pasta feast.
Ingredients:
- 400g peeled, chopped tomatoes
- 50g anchovy fillets
- 20 pitted black olives
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2-3 cloves chopped garlic
- 1 tablespoon chopped capers, rinsed
- 12 fresh basil leaves
- 1 small hot chilli, seeds removed, chopped
- 2 tablespoons fresh chopped
- Italian parsley
- Salt and pepper
- 500g spaghetti
- Parmesan cheese
Method:
- Heat the oil in a large fry pan, add garlic, cook until it starts to become golden, add the anchovy fillets, the capers and chilli, cook for a minute, then add the tomatoes, olives, basil, parsley, salt and pepper. Cook for about 30 minutes. In the meantime, cook the pasta, when cooked, drain and add to the sauce and mix thoroughly. Top with some Parmesan cheese.
