Monstera are very popular indoor plants and are known for their large glossy green leaves. These are very large, from 25-90 cm long and 15-75 cm broad, heart-shaped, leathery, dark green, and often have several holes in the leaf blade. Leaves are deeply cut, and combined with the holes that often appear, gives the leaf a shredded appearance. Stems are V-shaped, thick and up to 90 cm long.
