General Description

• also called ‘flat bean’
• long elongated flattened beans with a pale olive green colour
• can be up to 20 cm long and 2 -3 cm wide
• slightly curved
• used whole or cut into segments before beans fully develop
• sometimes confused with Snake beans, but wider, flatter and not as long
• Available: January to March (Vic); September to October (Qld)
