Fruity Dippers with Sherbet Cream

Description:

A very tempting way to serve fresh fruits for a special occasion look.

Ingredients:

 

Sherbet Cream

  • 250g light cream cheese
  • 2 – 3 tsp mild flavoured honey
  • Juice of 1/2 orange

Fruity Dippers:

  • Navel oranges, peeled and sliced – or mandarin segments
  • Champagne melon, pawpaw, persimmon and pineapple, cut into chunks
  • Bamboo skewers

Method:

 

  1. Use a wooden spoon to soften the cream cheese and combine with honey and orange juice. Beat until smooth and creamy and transfer to a small serving dish.
  2. Thread prepared fruit onto skewers and serve alongside dip.

Tip: Sherbet Cream also makes a luscious cake tipping or filling.
