Twins Nick (left) and Tony Commisso have been in business as Garden of Eden since Warringal Shopping Centre opened 18 years ago, but were allocated these slightly smaller premises about two and a half years ago, in a better position, on the way to the Coles supermarket. There was no reduction in ability to show produce, however, with the choice of stylish modern two-tier island displays. Accent lighting ensures the fresh produce is shown to best effect, and good use is made of promotional posters hung from the ceiling.

Specially made back-lit fresh produce illustrations add to the impact and full use is made of current promotional campaigns. A refrigerated cabinet at the rear of the shop ensures freshness is maintained for strawberries and other similar lines. Fruit salad, fresh cut pineapple, watermelon and canteloupe in balls are prepared daily on the premises and sold as pre-packs in attractive containers. It’s a Monday to Saturday business.
