Description:
Melon bowls offer a novel way to present this refreshing and nutritious dessert.
Ingredients:
- 2 small cantaloupes
- Small wedge of watermelon
- 1/2 honeydew melon
- 1/2 punnet blueberries
- 1/2 punnet strawberries
- Mint leaves to decorate
Method:
- Wash and dry cantaloupe. Using a large sharp knife, cut cantaloupes in half crossways and slice off the base to allow melons to sit flat. Using spoon, scoop out seeds and discard.
- Slice and peel watermelon and honeydew melon, then cut into 2 cm cubes.
- Pile cubed melon into seed cavities of prepared cantaloupes, sprinkle with blueberries and strawberries and decorate with mint leaves.
