Quick Mango Relish

Description:

Serve this relish with barbecued meats, or your favourite specialty cheese, with fresh bread and mixed salad greens.

Ingredients:

 

  • 1 firm fleshed mango, peeled and diced
  • 1 tsp finely sliced chillies, seeds removed
  • 1 spring onion, trimmed and sliced finely
  • 2 fresh dates, pips removed, sliced
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon or lime

Method:

 

  1. Combine all ingredients and serve at once (store any left over relish in the refrigerator but use same day).
