Sesame Corn

Description:
These are a great snack – or easy to reheat to accompany a barbecue.
Ingredients:
- 4 corncobs
- 1 tbsp peanut oil or olive oil
- 1/2 tsp toasted sesame oil
- 2 tbsp sliced chives
- Salt and coarse black pepper to taste
Method:
- Remove leaves and silk from corncobs.
- Cook until tender: steam or boil for 15 minutes or place in microwave proof dish with 2 tbsp water, cover and cook on high 8 minutes.
- Using a large sharp knife, cut into serving sizes then pierce with skewers.
- Combine peanut (or olive) oil with sesame oil, chives, salt and pepper. Dip corn in oil and herb mixture and serve at once.
Tip: You can cut the corn cobs into thick slices and pierce them with skewers to make them easier to eat.
