General Description

• green to yellow/green leaves up to 5 cm long
• leaves are more rounded at the tips than green basil and tend to curve downwards
• usually sold as cut bunches or as hydroponically-grown plants with roots attached
• considered the sweetest tasting basil
• Available: all year round, particularly common from November to March
