General Description/History

This, square frilly bean is high in protein and popular in South East Asia. It has a string on two of its four sides that should be removed before cooking. It should be cooked in salted water for 2-3 minutes before being sliced for use in Thai salads or stir fried as a green vegetable. Its flavour is like a starchy green bean.
